70's Rock Music - ELO

I would like to think that most rock music fans are aware of a band called Electric Light Orchestra. This band gained recognition in the 1970's and they definitely brought some unique things to the table. Using string instruments, obscure synthesizer effects and a wide range of vocals, ELO had a sound that no one else has been able to replicate.

I am sure that you have heard most of their hits like, "Evil Woman", "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Strange Magic". ELO has a HUGE discography, though, and I think that if you explore through some of their less successful albums you will find some gems that you never even knew about. In regards to 70's rock music, I would say that Electric Light Orchestra is one of the best in terms of originality.
